Does Christendom Really Even Exist ?

The Watchtower and Jehovah's Witnesses spend allot of time fighting against and demonizing "Christendom." But does Christendom as they define it even exist? Or is it a figment of the Watchtowers imagination created by the Watchtower to manipulate it's members?
